non-surgical rhinoplasty

What is non-surgical rhinoplasty?

A non-surgical rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that is done by injecting dermal filler into specific areas of the nose to reduce the appearance of any bumps and ridges and re-shape the nose from the side profile without surgery. We strategically inject small amounts of filler at the radix and around the dorsal hump resulting in a straighter and smaller looking nose from the side.

The dermal filler can also be injected into the nasal tip of the nose for our signature “fairy tip”, a lifted nose with a gentle slope creating a softer look. This procedure may not straighten the appearance of the nose from the front but can create this illusion by bringing balance to the face.

The non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment gives clients overall confidence. We use a micro-droplet technique to create a perfectly sloped bridge and sculpted lifted tip. The results from these procedures are absolutely incredible, with minimal downtime and without the risks of surgery.

This is a perfect example of how a small amount of treatment can make a huge difference, not only to appearance but overall confidence.

frequently asked questions

  • A good candiate for this treatment usually has the following; bump on the bridge of the nose (dorsal hump) and/or under projected nasal tip (drooping). A FREE facial assessment is required before booking this treatment to determine suitability, please visit our ‘consultations’ page to complete the online assessment.

  • For all dermal filler treatments we use a fantastic numbing cream that contains a local anaesthetic called lidocaine. We never start the treatment until you feel completely comfortable and numb. All of the fillers we use also have lidocaine incoporated within them.

  • These apply to all filler treatments:

    1. Avoid high intensity exercise immediately following treatment.

    2. Avoid heavy alcohol consumption for 24 hours after treatment

    3. Avoid applying make-up on the treated area for at least 24 hours

    4. Avoid extended exposure to the sun, UV rays and extreme temperatures (sauna, steam rooms etc.) for one week following treatment

    5. Bruising and swelling can be reduced through the use of arnica gel, a cold compress and a non-drowsy antihistamine

    6. Duration of filler is around 6-24 months depending on product, treated area and number of times treated.

    7. Wear SPF 30/50 on the treated area when exposed to the sunlight/UV rays

    8. No laser treatments or skin needling treatments for 2 weeks post treatment.

  • All make-up will be removed from the area to be treated so wear no make-up or minimal make-up to the appointment.

Do not drink alcohol 24 hours before (and after) the procedure.

Discontinue blood thinning medication 7 days prior to treatment, as they may increase the risk of bruising, this includes aspirin and ibuprofen (please check with your Dr before stopping prescribed medication). Also avoid St John’s Wort, fish oils, Gingko Biloba, Vitamins C and E 24 hours before treatment.

Avoid using topical products such as Tretinoin, Retinols and Glycolic Acid 3 days prior treatment.

Contact clinic prior to treatment if you have any illness such as colds, coughs or sore throat or any skin infections.

Contact the clinic if you have any other procedures planned such as facials and dental appointments.

Arnica tablets can be taken 3 days before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Ensure you have had something to eat prior to treatment to decrease the chances of light-headedness.
